Halloween director John Carpenter has paid tribute to the late A Nightmare on Elm Street filmmaker Wes Craven, who has died at age 76 from brain cancer.
“My friend Wes left us too soon,” Carpenter tweeted earlier this evening about his fellow Master of Horror. “He was truly an Old School director. I had a great time directing him. I’m REALLY gonna miss him.”
Carpenter directed Craven in the 1993 horror anthology film, Body Bags. Carpenter was one of many in Hollywood to pay tribute to Craven.
