Hugh Jackman is going to be singing his way around his native Australia.
The actor is launching a five-city arena tour called Broadway to Oz later this year, he announced Monday.
The show is billed as a journey through Jackman’s life, from his early days in Australia to his successes in musical theater and Hollywood. He’ll be joined for the performances by 150 musicians, singers, and dancers.
“Broadway to Oz is a dream come true,” Jackman said in a statement. “This is the show I’ve always wanted to bring home.”
The eight-date tour kicks off in Melbourne on Nov. 24, and continues in Sydney, Brisbane, and Adelaide before ending in Perth on Dec. 15.
