That’s a wrap for Josh Gad on the set of Beauty and the Beast. The former Book of Mormon Broadway star shared an Instagram picture this week that indicated his work on Disney’s live-action remake is over. Prepare your feelings.
That’s a wrap! Will miss the cast of #beautyandthebeast especially my brilliant Gaston #LukeEvans
Gad, who plays Le Fou, is on hand with his in-film evil boss Luke Evans, who’s much kinder looking than he probably will be as Gaston (definitely nicer than his Fast & Furious 6 turn as Owen Shaw). The snowy on-set environment must have been as magical as the first table read Ian McKellen described.
The movie is set for a March 17, 2017 release and also stars McKellen, Emma Watson, Dan Stevens, and Ewan McGregor.
