As far as timing goes, he’s got quite the head start—according to Warner Bros. big superhero plans, Green Lantern is the last big DC movie on its release schedule, with a 2020 release date—the better to put as much distance as possible between it and the poorly received 2011 film starring Ryan Reynolds.
Whether or not Tyrese is considered for the role, let’s hope that WB also considers using the John Stewart incarnation of the character.
